I have been on the hunt for the perfect ‘dressy’ short for I don’t even know how long. It seems that the majority of ‘dressy’ shorts are too tight, too short and just not to my taste. While shopping at Trina Turk last week I came across a short that looked ‘so so’ on the hanger but the girl who worked at the store told me I would love them and I HAD to try them on. I smiled and said I would.
Thinking that this short would be the same as all of the others I had ever tried I finally made my way to the dressing room to give them a try. The second I pulled those bad boys up I think my ‘short’ life changed forever. Not only are they the perfect cut and length but they are SO comfortable. Think Nike running shorts in a material that is appropriate to wear to dinner a.k.a. the perfect short. I know I will for sure be getting these shorts in navy, I am just secretly hoping that Trina Turk comes out with a white version. Cannot wait to wear this perfect short all spring an summer long.
