Mixing Prints

Lately, I have been trying to mix prints because it adds an un expected element to your overall look. When mixing prints it is best to keep one of the pieces neutral. For this look that I scored from Old Navy, I decided to keep the tank neutral and pair with a printed skirt and then finish the look with a striped tote.

Another tip when mixing prints is add a solid to break up the eye. Since I was headed to lunch and often get cold I decided to tie this chambray top around my waist. The top is perfect to throw over the look if I got chilly but also great to break up the prints and not make it seem as crazy. Are you a fan of mixing prints?
