Currently I am 20 weeks pregnant and at that super awkward pregnancy stage where I have not ‘popped’ but instead look puffy. Not complaining because I am so grateful to be half way done but I would be lying if I said the wardrobe struggle was beginning to get real. The last couple of weeks I have had to attend a cocktail party and a couple of baby showers and since my fitted dresses are currently on pause I have been opting for more forgiving styles like this baby blue lace dress.
I found this baby blue lace dress while online shopping and I knew it would be perfect to not only wear now but also to ‘grow’ into. The forgiving silhouette and the spring color really made me want to add it to my wardrobe. Funny enough, I love this dress and would have ordered it regardless if I were pregnant. To me, it is such a classic shape and the combination of the lace detailing and the baby blue color make it an instant favorite of mine.
The best part about this baby blue lace dress is that regardless of your shape or size, this dress really is the perfect dress to wear to dressier daytime events, weddings (or even showers) and of course a baby shower! This baby blue lace dress is going to be on major repeat for me this spring…especially with this growing belly!
