Although leopard is such a great neutral, all great things can have flaws. To me leopard is more tasteful when done in a more subtle way or in ‘pops’, a.k.a. small doses. It’s no secret that the print can be way overdone (especially in homes, tacky!) and go from chic to well, ugly.
I like to take basic pieces like a leopard jean or a leopard bag and create outfits that compliment and showcase the print. By pairing a more neutral and solid sweater it really balances the wild print and you don’t even notice that I have leopard jeans on. Just remember if you are going to wear something on the more wild side, make sure that the rest of your outfit is calm!
