As a new mom, I was sooooo nervous about flying with him because I did not have a clue how to do it (I mean where do you change his diaper in flight!). Thankfully all my besties are a few months ahead of me with babies, so I learned all the tricks and tips from them.

You might not know this but my sister is a flight attendant and a few weeks ago she was on a flight and a new mom was passing out cookies. She immediately texted me a photo of the cookies and told me I HAD to copy this idea. I was so excited when I got her photo because I knew it would be the perfect ice breaker (a.k.a. peace offering), to the fellow passengers in our section…plus, I knew the flight attendants would love it just as much as my sister loved receiving her cookies!

I cannot thank my sister enough because this was the biggest hit ever on the flight. The captain loved it, the attendants all made a point to come say hello to Baby Ralph and a few of them even took photos. Oh and the best part? The passengers around us thought it was precious. Such a relief because everyone on the flight could not have been nicer. The crew even signed this adorable little book and wrote the sweetest little notes to baby Ralph (see the last photo) and gave him his first pair of ‘wings’.

The flight went off without a hitch, baby Ralph was an angel baby and the crew was a dream. I highly recommend if you are flying with a baby to bring a little something for those around you. Even though I should not have to apologize for flying with a baby, everyone was so appreciative of my little effort and kind to us.

p.s. I will be posting the tips I learned for flying with a new baby soon!
