Sometimes less is more and simple is the way to go. Simple makes things less complicated and effortless. While exploring Barcelona (we are currently in Ibiza), one of the things that I have loved watching are the simple outfits that the Spaniards wear. Basically they could not be any chicer, always look put together, yet their style is so simple.
One of my favorite summer looks is a simple white skirt paired with a blouse. While I do love this striped number (I scored it on sale and have been wearing it non-stop), the beauty of a simple outfit (or pairing anything with a white skirt) is that everything works and honestly you can’t mess it up.
So the next time you are having the closet struggle that WE ALL have, just grab a simple skirt, classic blouse and some espadrilles and head out the door. I know it sounds easy and I still struggle but hey, I figure if I put it out there it will become more and more effortless.
