Happy weekend! Who else has had a bit of a crazy week and ready for a long weekend? Well, if you could see me writing this post you would see that I am raising both hands because it has been quite the long week.
Yes, work has been crazy but phase one of this house renovation has been even crazier. Thankfully, we are really seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Big things happened this week relating to the house. The closet and laundry cabinetry was installed, the master bedroom was painted, the bathroom, laundry room, closets were all prepped for paint. The garage wall was installed (oh em gee amazing), a few more light fixtures arrived, bedside lamps and tables finally came in…let’s just say, things are moving and grooving but we cannot wait to be done with this phase and finally living in our bedroom!
Ahhh, I could go on about the house all day but I will save that for another (few) posts. I cannot wait to start revealing bits and pieces. For now, follow along on SnapChat & Instagram (user: DallasWardrobe) to see bits and pieces as the downstairs comes together!

This pink dress would be perfect for any spring occasion (only $58), the neckline on this DVF dress is so good and these espadrille sandals are a spring must have. This light pink sweater is the perfect weight to wear now (and also when temperatures warm up), this blouse is so colorful and this is a great pair of sunnies!
- Neiman Marcus: This shirtdress is such a classic (similar to the one I wore in this post), obsessed with this chambray shirtdress, this blue Equipment blouse is so pretty and if you saw this Instagram you saw this shirt…lucky for you guys, it’s now on sale!
- Shopbop: The neckline on this black jumpsuit is so flattering, this dress has a lovely print, this romper would be great for a fun night out and if you don’t have a pair of leather pants now is a great time to invest because they are all on sale!
