#DWardrobeHome

Amy Havins of Dallas Wardrobe talks about her new house in Dallas, Texas.Since it has been a couple of weeks since I last talked about our house (#dwardrobehome), I thought it would be fun to give you guys a little bit of an update. When I last mentioned the process of our house, I was a bit discombobulated and jumped around when talking about what was going on. Honestly, you guys this whole process is making me so crazy that the way my last two home posts were written is a direct reflection of how my brain is functioning with this construction.

Why yes, it is so exciting to see your vision come to life but the day-to-day process and how watching how slow this actually is kind of getting to me. Totally honest, the only thing that is keeping Wade & I sane is our interior designer, Cindy Sontag. You guys–she is a saving grace and the real brains behind the operation. We would be 100% lost if it were not for her.

Speaking of Cindy, yesterday was an exciting ‘interiors’ day. We ordered a rug for the family room, found a pretty fixture for the powder bathroom and even changed our minds on a light fixture for the family room.

The floors were laid in the master bathroom, the closet design was finalized (we have a walk through later this week before everything is built) and the driveway is finally going to be cut in the back. Haleluijah, hopefully we will be able to park in the back sooner than later.

Slowly and in such a curated way; pieces have been ordered, finally coming in and WARMLY being welcomed into our home. If When this house gets done, I cannot tell you how much I am going to appreciate it because it has been such a labor of love.
