For 11 years I wore a pleated skirt. No this was not some form of cruel fashion punishment that was bestowed upon me [well kind of], it was my school uniform. Upon graduation I swore that I would never wear a pleated skirt/garment ever again. I guess the jokes on me right because as of late the classic detail has swept the runways and red carpet in various forms [chiffon, silks and new cuts].
The second I laid my eyes on this Karen Millen pintuck dress [@ the Galleria in Dallas] I was in love. The pleats make this dress whimsical, feminine + if on the right day they flow in the wind [+ move when you twirl of course]. The best part about this dress is its versatility. The second it gets cold you just add a tight + leather jacket!
