NYFW: Day 4

Day 4 was such a blast. We started off the day with brunch at Nello’s on the Upper East Side. This was most definitely one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. After a quick stroll around central park we headed to the tents!

Today we had the Herve Leger show and then we finished up the evening with the Monique Lhuillier show. Both were so different, yet both were incredible.

Herve Leger really played off of the armor motif that we saw last season. During their Fall 2012 fashion show, they paired strapped harnesses over bandage dresses and pleated skirts! Throughout this collection we saw fur embellishments and some metallic details.

Following the Herve show, we did a little afternoon shopping, then headed back to the Lincoln Center for the Monique Show.

Monique Lhuillier, who is most well known for her bridal collections, proved after this Fall 2012 collection that she can do just about anything. During this show we saw a lot of leather accents, sheer insets, and  FIERY red colors!

Dressing for the shows is always a challenge. Today I decided to go with the ‘preppy chic’ look.

Since it was a little chilly in NYC, I decided to pair this short sleeved Tibi Dress with a classic Theory blouse to not only keep me warm, but to add a preppy element to my ensemble!

I hope everyone has an amazing Friday! Xx
