Happy weekend! I am so excited that today is finally here. Not just because the next two days have lots of fun things in store but in addition to fun plans I love the weekends because the world shuts off. No work e-mails, it’s just nice and calm.
This week really flew by. I spent more hours that I normally do grinding away on my computer, I worked out and I even got a little extra sleep. Pretty nice if you asked me. Like I said before, I am excited for this weekend for two reasons. The first, is tonight (Friday), we get to celebrate the engagement of Mackenzie & Will which will be such a blast. They are such a sweet couple & we always have the best time around them. Tomorrow night we get to celebrate another sweet couple with all of my friends that I grew up with. It’s always fun when this group gets together because we have all been friends since the 7th grade and before. Talk about going back!

Best Weekend Sales
- Nordstrom: Ok, I know these shoes are not on sale BUT they are so adorable and very affordable (compared to these), that I wanted to share…so cute right? This tunic comes in 4 other colors and I’m not kidding when I say it needs to be in all of your closets…oh and its $25 (woohoo)! I have these boyfriend jeans and they are the best. I have the black version of this quilted jacket, love these wedge sandals and I wanted these open toed boots last year and never got them but now since they are SO on sale I think I am going to pull the trigger!
- Neiman Marcus: This zip front party dress in navy is such a classic, one of my all time favorite Shoshanna dresses (I wore it here) is now on major sale, this Kate Spade dress is actually the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time (look at that bow) and this blue shirt dress is something that if I had in my closet I would probably live in it because it is a great classic ($92).
- Shopbop: As I mentioned before I have lots of celebrations this weekend. I am thinking that I am going to wear this Shoshanna dress (remember I wore it here) to Mackenzie & Will’s engagement party. These distressed FRAME jeans are the perfect wash for spring/summer, the color of this Vince leather jacket is so good, really into the shape of this Equipment silk dress and you probably already know but stripes are a huge trend for spring…this Equipment blouse is the perfect striped blue and white blouse that you will for sure want in your closet!
