Known as the ‘most exciting two minutes in sports’, this Saturday the 142nd Kentucky Derby will be run. While I am a tiny bit interested in the actual race, I would be lying if I said that the fashion was not at the forefront of my mind.
As someone who prefers to dress for the occasion, Derby Day is one of my favorites. Last week I posted this Derby Day inspired look from Draper James on the blog but I thought it would be fun to incorporate a few more looks to inspire you if you were headed to a Derby Day Party this year.
While we are not headed to Louisville, Kentucky for the actual Kentucky Derby, we will be attended a Derby Day party at one of our favorite hotels in Dallas. Derby Day is such a fun excuse to pull out your most lady-like/Kate Middleton inspired dress and pair with a fun hat. I am still trying to figure out what dress and hat or fascinator I will be wearing, so if you have ANY suggestions please leave in the comments section!
