As long as I have known Wade (going on 9 years now), we have always had the attitude that you only live once. We apply this ‘yolo’ attitude to so many aspects of our own lives. From travel (planned & last minute), opting for going out with friends instead of staying in, and to our daily decisions, the phrase ‘you only live once’ seems to be our thing. I feel like even more recently we have had this major ‘Yes’ or I should say bold attitude (if that’s even possible) to just about anything and everything. I think it’s the point we are at in our lives and the age. Wade turned 30 last month and my 30th is this Wednesday (the 31st). It’s like we know our sense of flexibility/drop everything and go time frame is now becoming a shorter and shorter window. I should say we are now seeing the light at the end of this ‘yes’ tunnel.

As you may know (or not, that’s ok too), but Express has a new campaign called “Express Life“. Express life encourages you to be bold, confident and self-assured. This mantra is being bold, confident and self-assured is something that not only applies to your personal life but also to your personal style.

If I am being 100% honest, for us as a couple I feel like being bold with our style is not our strong point (we always opt for more classic looks) but I will say that being self-assured is something we do not shy away from, especially when we are wearing our Express denim. Express denim is so great right now and has a pair that works for every body type (male or female). For me, although I love wearing everything from cropped denim to mid-rise frayed Express denim but my preference right now is a skinny high-waisted jean like this pair. Wade prefers the Express slim leg slim fit dark wash jeans because he loves the way they look with everything from his tee-shirts to his dress dress.

I really love the new Express Life campaign because it’s so authentic. We all express and live our lives in different ways and Express Denim allows you to express your self with the shape and style of your denim!
