I cannot tell you how excited I am about this post because baby Ralph is finally in the pictures! It’s so crazy to look back at all of my maternity photos over the last 9 months and watch my bump grow. I do want to say that Ralph and I are much better friends now that he is out ;).
This outfit of Ralph’s will forever be my favorite. Not only was it the outfit we took him home from the hospital in, the outfit that he had his newborn photos in (see more photos here) but most importantly it is the outfit that my grandmother picked out for our sweet baby Ralph. When I was just 16 weeks pregnant (right after we did our pregnancy announcement) my grandmother, Annie, took me to Layette (a personal favorite Dallas baby boutique) to pick out some goodies for Ralph. The moment we both saw this little ensemble we both knew it would be just PERFECT for him to wear home from the hospital. The fabric is so soft and the pops of blue are just the sweetest. We even had his monogram put on the front to make it that much cuter.
Some people pass down outfits for their little ones to wear home from the hospital but I thought an outfit that my grandmother picked out for her first great grandson was just as special. It will forever be an outfit that I keep and remember our special day that she and I had together and of course how precious baby Ralph looked in his outfit when he got to wear it home from the hospital!
