Going West for the Holidays

Next week we are headed west to celebrate the holidays with my husbands family. My husband Wade grew up in a tiny town (think no Starbucks or CVS) about 3 hours from Dallas. As someone who dreads being in the car, the drive always seems daunting but by the time we arrive, we are always so excited to enjoy the slow paced life for a couple of days....

Yes, I am a fan of spring florals but when it comes to winter florals, I cannot get enough. There is something so fresh about winter florals. With these chilly and often overcast winter days, the florals seem to brighten up my mood while also reminding me that spring is right around the corner....

Camel and black could be one of my favorite combinations. Although some may think since one is ‘brown’ and the other is black that it normally would not work together but trust me when I say, it totally works....
