I cannot believe that it is already June 1st…aka the start of the 6th month of the year! I feel like just yesterday we were in the midst of the holiday season, making resolutions and trying to figure out ways to keep warm. Fast forward (literally) 6 months and the sun is finally shining and pool season is officially in full swing.
With the warm weather now here, summer dresses are a necessity and of course ice cream dates are always appropriate. If you follow me on SnapChat or Instagram you know that I have the biggest sweet tooth. While I do love nothing more than a little TCBY sometimes it it tastes to good to have the real thing…custard.
One fun thing to do during the summer with my girlfriends or husband is visit one of my favorite ice cream shops on Knox, Wild About Harry’s. Wild About Harry’s has been around since the mid-90’s and is a Dallasite favorite serving everything from homemade custard, hot dogs and other speciality items.
This particular day Kristin and I were having a mad sweet tooth, so we decided to head to Wild About Harry’s for a little afternoon treat. We thought it would be fun to sit outside, enjoy the pretty day and of course have our favorite custard. I went with the peppermint ice cream in a waffle cone and Kristin opted for chocolate. It was a fun afternoon, with of of my favorite friends eating our favorite custard….pretty good day if you asked me!
