Outerwear pieces are generally something I consider to be “investment pieces” in my wardrobe; if you take care of your coats and jackets, they will last you for years. I don’t mind spending a bit more on these items because I know they will be with me for countless seasons. Recently I’ve been wearing this Anine Bing jacket or this Toteme jacket; they are perfect for throwing over your shoulders and pair perfectly with jeans and your favorite sweater or even a basic top....
classic tops in black & white
Having a wardrobe with plenty of neutral options makes getting dressed so much easier- plus, wearing all black (or all white) just looks chic. Basic tops, such as t-shirts and tanks, are great pieces for layering under sweaters or jackets, and they also look great by themselves with jeans. Bodysuits are also a great option, and brands like Good American, Commando and Wolford make some of my favorite bodysuits....
