Jean shorts are a summer (and beach bum) wardrobe staple. Although I assure you that you won’t see me at dinner in these bad boys (there is a time + a place girls) they are one of my go to items during those hot Dallas summer days. Perfect for the beach, poolside or even working in the yard; I get more wear out of these than anything in my closet and the best part is, they look even better over time.

About a month ago Old Navy reached out to me explaining about their sponsership for the June 1st Dallas Pretty Muddy run at Skyline Ranch. If you don’t already know, Pretty Muddy is a 5K (3.1 mile) adventurous obstacle course mud run for any woman who wants to get outside, spend time with girlfriends + just have an all around great time. Oh and the best part (besides getting a little work out in + getting the hang with me) is that Old Navy will be doing a fashion show post run showcasing their new active collection!

As much fun as it is to cruise around Dallas, beach cruisers are extra enjoyable when you are at the beach.  After a morning of laying in the sun, the husband + I decided to go on a little bike adventure and do some exploring around our resort. Although the ride didn’t last as long as he would have liked (riding bikes in skirts is difficult) it was fun while it lasted!

I am always on the lookout for the perfect little white dress. Come spring time these LWD’s are everywhere but it takes a little fashion hunting to find the perfect one! A few weeks ago I was doing my nightly ritual of online browsing (girls I am just sure you know exactly what I am talking about) and I came across this amazing London based company, Rtister. Rtister is an online fashion website that carries brands that are unique and cater to the modern, international woman!

After browsing for a little I immediately fell in love with this amazing Negarin London LWD. The best part about this dress is that I have been able to wear on a variety of occasions (meetings + a night out on the town) and even change up the look by adding a belt! This particular day I had to attend a luncheon so I kept my accessories minimal + paired the LWD with a rockstud pump to add a little edge.

I have only had this dress for about a month but it has already become my ‘go to’ LWD.
