Just Keep Livin is an organization that provides a safe, positive environment for students to gather after school and make new friends. This was such a special holiday themed night that included some sweet (old) friends and many new ones.

One of my favorite things about the evening (besides the company) was being given the opportunity by Target to style a holiday themed table for less than $200. As someone who considers tablescaping a challenge (especially when your table is going to be next to Kimberly Whitman, Judy Aldridge & Camille Styles) this thought was initially intimidating…but who doesn’t like a little challenge?

Before I dove right into shopping the Target web-site, I decided to think about my inspiration/vision for my table. I mean you have to have a plan otherwise you can get really overwhelmbed. As someone who has sat at her grandmothers beautiful holiday tables more times than I can count, I decided to play off of her love for a traditional table and create a classic Christmas tablescape. From the plaid tablecloth, the pops of red, the classic floral arrangement and even the vintage salt and pepper shaker; I have to say, I am really pleased with the way my table came out! I especially love that I was able to create the entire tablescape for less than $200. Target wins again!

This Target event really got me in the holiday spirit. I cannot wait to set a beautiful tablescape at our home this holiday season…I know I will be making a Target run (or two, or three) to create the perfect table!
