A couple of weeks ago my husband and I were invited to the newest Hyatt All Inclusive resort, Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Having not been to Cancun in a few years, we thought it would be really fun to zip down there and soak up the beautiful Mexican sun for a few days.
After a super quick flight (only 2 hours from Dallas) and a short drive to the resort (15 minutes) we had arrived at the brand new Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Oh my goodness gracious, I wish I were able to accurately depict how gorgeous this resort is. The combination of the modern decor and the spectacular views made this resort the ultimate when it comes to eye candy. Upon checking into our lovely suite (all rooms have ocean views), we popped open a bottle of champagne and the vacation really started.
Something about champagne and the ocean breeze just makes you really unwind, which with all of these house projects is something the two of us really needed.
Considering our accommodations, we were unsure it would even be possible to get anymore relaxed by boy were we wrong. After a trip to the spectacular spa for a couples massage, steam room and a dip in the pool we were totally zen. Talk about a great way to start your morning!
We spent the next few days at the resort sipping margaritas by the pool (there are 2 huge ones one the grounds), restaurant and bar hopping (14 to choose from) and of course working on our tans. I will say, one of the best things about an all inclusive experience is that you can taste all of the food and drink all of the drinks without even getting out your wallet. I don’t know about you but only being responsible for keeping up with a room key on vacation is quite nice. Am I right?
Oh, I cannot forget to mention the wonderful celebration that Hyatt Ziva Cancun threw one of the nights. International food and culture, a chic crowd, performers and fireworks are just a few of the highlights from the oh so exciting grand opening party.
