I have some friends whose style is too cool. They can pull off brands like Rag & Bone, wear a beanie with a dress or combat boots to the gym like it’s no big deal. I always say that I am not cool enough to do those things but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy seeing others work those looks!

While at breakfast with the gals from Tomboy KC the other day we were talking about personal style and how different mine was from theirs (not in a bad way – just pointing out the obvious). As I sat across from Lynsey & Katie in my girly Nike workout clothes & Uggs, I described my style as feminine and classic. Without hesitating, they agreed, then both smiled and said they wanted to TKC me. Now you are probably confused as to what this means to so let me explain. Katie’s style is edgy and cool. Mine is the exact opposite. We took some basics that I had in my closet and she added her ‘Tomboy Katie Cassidy’ a.k.a. edgy & cool touch to it. Get it now? TKC.

Make sure to pop over to Katie’s blog to see more photos of how I got TKC’d.
