Happy Weekend

Happy Friday! Whooohooo, it’s the weekend! Where does the time go?? I am actually really excited about this weekend but especially excited for next week! Last night some of our best friends and their precious baby got to Dallas. They are staying with us for a couple of nights which is always such a blast.

I hate even admitting this but since I have NEVER been to the Perot Museum, I thought today would be the perfect opportunity. I know the baby (well really toddler) will love exploring the children’s section and I know his mother and I will love watching him discover new things! After a trip to the museum I’m sure there will be nap time (how nice) and then a fun dinner at one of my favorite little spots in Dallas. Here’s a hint…they serve some of the best home cooking and their fried chicken & jalepeno jelly are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Can you guess where we are going?

After Friday, the next couple of days will be spent bopping around with friends and of course getting ready for New York Fashion Week! I cannot believe that it is already that time of year. The hubby and I are headed to the big apple on Wednesday and not only and I am so excited to spend time in New York but I am SO thrilled that he is coming along for the entire trip. Between shows, appointments, meetings and dinner reservations we have a full schedule but we are both really looking forward to the hustle and bustle.

I hope you all have the best weekend and I hope that wherever you are the weather warms up…thinking warm thoughts! xx

I love it when friends and family come to visit that is usually how I end up seeing new places and become a tourist in my own backyard. I have no idea where you are eating seeing as how I am a California girl but it sure sounds yummy. Amy please stop by my blog and check it out I would love to hear your comments or feedback I hope you have a great weekend!
