In this weird way this post is longggg over due but I thought what better time to show (almost) every space in our current home than the day before the move?? I know you probably are thinking we are crazy that we fixed up this 1941 gem and then decided to sell and to be honest, it was quite a hard decision because I love this house more than anything. I love that it was Wade and I’s first home renovation project (literally touched every surface), our first ‘real’ decorating experience (thanks to the talented Cindy Sontag) and the place where we brought home our first baby. Let’s just say this house had a lot of firsts and so much love. I am sure that didn’t answer your question as to why we are moving but in short, we are always looking and something popped up that we just couldn’t pass on. Trust me when I say you are going to love the bits and pieces that I eventually share!

As much as I do love this house and am going to miss its 1940’s charm, at the end of the day it’s not about the space, it is about what fills it and for me that is wherever Wade and baby Ralph are. I am so sad to say farewell to this house but excited for the next project.

Did you paint your house exterior? If so, do you remember the brand / color that you used?

I enjoyed your photo home tour. What a gorgeous place with such style and charm. You and your decorator did an amazing job bringing its 1941 bones to life with vibrance. I’m a Realtor and would not want to pass up an opportunity to help you sell it, so call me if you need me. Blessings to you and your precious family as you create beautiful memories elsewhere. I can help you find your new one too. All the best, Brenda Hanley

So much backyard envy. I really need to work on ours. Actually… our landscaping over all just needs to be overhauled. If you have local recommendations for that, I’m all ears.

Can you tell me the best way to reach Cindy in regards to interior design? Everything she picked for your house was AMAZING!

Love your kitchen cabinet colors! Could you share the paint color and brand when you have time? We’re about to move into our 1920s home and it has such a traditional feel I’m really struggling on how to modernize without losing the charm!
