Poplin Tunic

Tunics are probably one of my favorite things to wear especially this time of year. They are so easy to just throw on with literally anything (shorts, pants, jeans), they just flow and are super easy to dress up or down. While I do have quite the collection I am always on the look out for ones that are unique.

Last week in Dallas the weather was crazyyy. There were tornado warnings, wild winds and flash floods. Ironically enough I just so happened to get stuck in Nordstrom (convenient right?). Not a bad place to be trapped, trust me. After I picked up a few things from the beauty department I was moseying around upstairs and came across a new (ish) brand in contemporary (T.B.D. to be exact) called 1.State. One of the sweet girls in the department explained it was a new line that was available exclusively at Nordstrom.

Knowing that pretty much everything Nordstrom has in their contemporary departments is amazing I poked around the racks to see if anything caught my eye. Well, if I could buy the entire collection I would. I did end up going home with a few pieces.

One in particular was this 1.State white poplin tunic. I am always a sucker for anything white but this particular poplin tunic caught my eye because of the unique embroidered mesh inset. Cool right? With summer right around the corner I knew that this tunic would get plenty of wears!
