The last 5 months have been incredibly busy for us. Between trying to balance phase 1 of a home renovation, work, friends and family – I kind of feel like I have just been treading water barely having a minute for things that I used to really devote a lot of time to.

One of the things that has really taken a back seat the last few months is my closet. I used to love nothing more than running up to the mall or popping into my favorite boutiques and seeing all of the pretty things, trying on new styles and adding a few special pieces along the way. Since I have been at the mercy of our contractor’s schedule (or lack thereof) the last 5 months, these random ‘clothing excursions’ have not happened.

I know what you’re thinking, poor Amy doesn’t get to go shopping. Don’t be fooled, the internet is one of my besties, so I have been ordering a few things here and there online, but you guys, there is nothing I love more than walking into a store and touching the fabrics and trying on new styles.

As someone who just hasn’t had the time the last 5 months, I was more than delighted when I got an e-mail from the girls at Trunk Club to see if I was interested in popping in the Dallas Clubhouse for a style session. Having only associated Trunk Club with men’s fashion the last couple of years, totally honest, I was confused why I would be getting an e-mail but you guys they now have Trunk Club Women’s!

Last fall, Trunk Club expanded and now offers the Trunk Club Women’s department. If you are not familiar with Truck Club you really should be. Trunk Club Women is a personal styling service for women, perfect for those who are short on time, looking for styling guidance, want a new look and want to try a new way of shopping for clothes.

Just to paint you a picture of what actually went on, a few days before my styling appointment with Lindsay Smith at the Trunk Clubhouse, (they also have clubhouse locations in Chicago, NY, LA and DC) she rang and we chatted on the phone about my personal style, what colors I like to wear, what I don’t like wearing and my sizes. Upon arriving at my appointment and heading up to our ‘suite’ (where champagne was waiting for us) there was a perfectly curated rack of clothing. I am not even kidding when I say that I was obsessed with everything that she pulled. All of my favorite colors, silhouettes and even in my size. Honestly, it was the most fun hour and a half I have had shopping probably ever.

Lindsay Smith was such a blast, we laughed so much, I tried on clothes, she styled them, cuffed them and did all of her personal shopping tricks. I ended up leaving with a few of my favorite items and if I could have purchased everything I would.

Although I had such a blast at the Trunk Club Clubhouse in Dallas, if you don’t live near a clubhouse you can still get this same service, except from the comfort of your own home. Once you sign up, you are paired with a professional stylist (for free), you chat about your style/etc and a perfectly curated ‘trunk’ arrives on your doorstep. Once you try on everything from your trunk, you just keep what you want and send back the rest (free shipping both ways). Genius I tell you, genius.

This Trunk Club service is so great for those who are busy, don’t have time to shop, don’t want to shop or even want a personal styling experience. I HIGHLY recommend Trunk Club Women’s, you all will love.
