It’s no secret that blue is the color of the season and I for one cannot get enough. I love the way that it looks contrasted against my skin/hair but also on everyone else. I mean, who looks bad in blue? No one.

If you follow me on Instagram you know that the hubby and I took a little last minute trip to Miami this week. We were in desperate need of a little r&r and of course sunshine. Plus, I have been craving the ocean for far too long. Before we left for Miami, I made the necessary Calypso St. Barth run. Although I love incorporating their effortless and feminine clothes into my wardrobe all year long, before I head anywhere it’s always on my ‘to do’ list to pop in. Whenever I add anything to my closet, I like to make sure that it makes sense in more than just one place. This look from Calypso St. Barth (breezy blue sweater and printed pants) not only works as a casual look to wear around Dallas but it was also a PERFECT vacation look. I would be lying if I said I didn’t get more than a handful of compliments while wearing it! It’s the perfect look for here and there and I know I will be able to wear the sweater and printed pants together and separately, which is something that I love about any outfit!
