Until recently, I have always avoided prints. I am not really even sure why but when making a  clothing purchase, I have always seemed to opt for the solid versus something that may stand out a little more. Like most things, when you see it enough you eventually want to try it. For me, that is how I felt about prints. I constantly see them everywhere and yes, I caved and added some amazing bold black and white print pieces from Old Navy to my closet.

Since bold prints have been semi-intimidating until recently, I decided that I cannot be the only one who felt this way. I thought it would be fun and actually helpful to share two bold print looks from Old Navy that you can wear during the daytime and then also at night.

During the summer, my style tends to lean more ‘comfortably’ which means that breezy dresses, slouchy pants and tanks are the first things that I tend to grab when getting dressed. Being that I am on a bold print kick, these two looks both make a statement but still stay true to my more classic ways of dressing.

A slouchy black and white bold printed paint paired with a tucked in printed tank and flats from Old Navy is a perfect look for running around this summer. The second look, a breezy printed dress is such a great option for summer nights. Though I did opt to belt it to give me a little more of a silhouette and then pair with a heel, this printed black and white dress would look just as great paired with flats.

Sometimes its great to get out of your fashion comfort zone and thanks to Old Navy’s on trend pieces that are reasonably priced, you can try out the latest styles without breaking the bank!
