With wedding season in full swing (we will have been to 5 in two months) dresses seem to be the only thing I am getting lately. I am all about re-wearing clothes but who wants to be caught in the exact same outfit by the same people, especially at a wedding? Not me. I am always on the hunt for classic dresses that can be worn through the wedding seasons but also on special occasions like birthdays, dinners and cocktail parties. You know, those versatile dresses.
This pink lace dress has really become one of my ‘go-to’ dresses. I have been able to wear it to a party (or two) and also plan to wear it to an up and coming wedding. I love the simple silhouette and how the dress defines the waist but you are still able to have your cake and eat it too (breathing room is a must for me). When wearing such a busy dress (lace detail) I like to keep my shoes really simple & usually opt for one of my nude pairs. The nude shoes don’t cut off my legs and keeps them looking long (illusions, trust me).
This lace dress comes in a few more colors (view them here) but if you are a bride to be, I would recommend getting this same dress but in white. I think it is just beautiful!
