The weather can be so unpredictable a.k.a. crazy this time of year. One day it is 80 and sunny and the next it is pouring down rain and 50 degrees. I am normally not one to complain about the weather but when it starts acting all crazy it really gets inconvenient wardrobe wise. One would think that during this time of year we should be able to show bare legs all the time but honestly I really am not ready. One the temps randomly drop at night, two my legs are very ghostly almost translucent.

I have found one of the easiest ways to transition wardrobe wise during this awkward time is the over the knee boot. Not only do they cover my legs that desperately need sunshine but they also keep me warm on the chillier nights. Yes, I get a lot of wear out of my over the knee boots during the winter but this time of year they are pretty much my ‘go to’ shoe. It allows you to show a little springy skin without covering up your entire leg with tights. I love to pair the over the knee boots with dresses, skirts and of course jeans. I do make sure to be careful that the skirt or dress isn’t too short when I wear the boots. Making sure that I show just enough skin to not pull a Julia Roberts circa Pretty Woman (if you know what I mean). Do you go for the over the knee boot this time of year or do you skip right to baring your legs?
