Happy Spring! I cannot believe that I am even typing those words right now! I have been counting down to spring ever since last fall. Partly because I knew that once spring hit I was that much closer to the start of my third trimester but also because I love spring weather. I love the blooming flowers, the green grass, hearing the birds chirp in the mornings, the sun staying up longer (yes to daylights savings time) and especially the temperature increases. I mean who doesn’t enjoying wearing pretty spring colors and of course dresses?

Being the ‘dress’ girl that I am, this pregnancy could not have come at a better ‘wardrobe’ time because dresses seem to be the best thing to wear while pregnant. Currently, I am 22 weeks 6 days and my baby bump has finally started making a (tiny) appearance. Since my bump has finally begun to make its debut, it has made getting dressed a little bit harder. The last week I have been heavily relying on new (and old) dresses. Especially ones that have the a-line silhouette like this navy number from Donna Morgan.

My favorite thing about an a-line dress is pregnant or not pregnant they are the most forgiving silhouette and really the most comfortable. Plus, you can easily dress them up or down (heels or flats both work)! I can tell you now that dresses like this navy spring dress will be on heavy rotation in the coming weeks, especially with my growing bump!
